Reduction Cum Pinion Gearbox
Product Description
A reduction gear box is used to reduce an input speed to a slower output speed and more output torque. It is a wheel work consisting of a connected set of rotating gears by which power is transmitted or motion or torque is changed. We can manufacture and supply stage, double stage or multistage gear boxes having single outputs as required.
Horizontal split case design for ease of maintenance. Large Diameter output shaft and bearings to maximize overhung load capacity. MENS Gear Boxes are robust and reliable, virtually eliminating backlash and friction. Innovative modular construction has Minimized part count to maximize the availability of the product.
Features / Specification
Housing will be Steel Fabricated by M.I.G. welding, duly stress relieved in oil fired furnace and horizontal split design.
Gear Material : Forged and Forged blank EN-9, EN-19, EN-24 Steel
Gear Type : Spur, Single & Double Helical Gears upto 2500mm Dia
Normal Input Load Range : From 200 HP upto 2000 HP. Drives
Maximum Peak Load : 6000 HP.
Sizes: 6” to 30” i.e. from 150 to 750 mm PCD (as per requirement of mill)
Ratio: 1:1 to up to the Requirement of Mill
Speed : 50 RPM to 1500 RPM
Anchor / Foundation Bolts : Carbon Steel
Pinion enclosed in will be proportioned steel fabricated housing.
Pinions will be of EN -24 material properly heat treated. Housing will be of steel fabricated.
Shaft ends accurately ground to close machine.
Double helical teeth cut on imported hobbing machine.
Gear Couplings of TS ISPAT PVT LTD make duly hydraulically fitted in the Input & Output Shafts.
Inside piping will be provided for forced lubrication arrangement of bearings and pinionteeth Oil Seal provided at input/output ends of shafts to prevent oil leakage.
Transparent window provided on both sides of housing to observe teeth lubrication
